Just as employees have responsibilities, so does Nexus Group as an employer. This guide sets out what we commit to providing for our people.
What we commit to
A safe workplace. We provide and maintain a working environment that is safe and without unreasonable risks to health — including safe equipment, procedures and facilities. See the Work Health & Safety policy.
Supervision and support. We provide the supervision, information and support you need to do your work safely and well, especially when you’re new or learning something different.
Consultation. We consult our people about decisions that affect their work and safety, including through the WHS Committee and health and safety representatives.
Clear information. We make policies, procedures and the information you need easy to find on this portal, and we keep them up to date.
Privacy. We collect, store and use personal information responsibly and only as needed, in line with the Privacy Policy.
Responding to hazards and incidents. We act on reported hazards and incidents, put controls in place, and keep the hazard register up to date.
Fair and respectful work. We treat people fairly and consistently, support a respectful culture, and don’t tolerate discrimination, bullying or harassment.
Fair pay and entitlements. We pay correctly and on time, and provide the leave and entitlements employees are entitled to.
