Knowledge base refresh — quick stand-up
24 June 20XX · Present: Harpreet, Declan, Jordan, Ravi
- Two guides done, two in progress — on track for the deadline.
- Jordan flagged the MFA guide needs a screenshot updated; Ravi to proofread once it’s back.
- Declan is waiting on a detail from Operations before finishing the records guide.
A disagreement about who proofreads
Ravi expected to proofread every guide before it’s published, but Harpreet and Declan have been publishing their own after a quick self-check. Guides are going out with small inconsistencies, and Ravi feels left out of the step they agreed to.
A good way to handle it
- Raise it calmly and early, focusing on the work (consistency) not the person.
- Re-confirm the shared step everyone agreed: one proofread before publishing.
- Agree a simple hand-off (mark a guide “Review” for Ravi before “Done”).
- If it can’t be resolved in the team, raise it with the supervisor.
Supervisor follow-up
“Thanks for flagging it. Let’s keep the single proofread step — mark guides “Review” for Ravi before publishing. Good teamwork sorting it out early.”
— Caitlin Murphy (Operations Support Team Leader)
