You can reset your own Nexus password using self-service — no need to wait for the Service Desk.
Reset it yourself
- Go to the Nexus sign-in page and choose Can’t access your account?
- Enter your work email and complete the security check (MFA prompt or code).
- Choose a new strong passphrase.
- Sign in with your new passphrase.
Your new passphrase can’t be the same as a recent one.
After resetting
- Update your mobile. If you check email on your phone, sign in again there too — see Setting up work email on your phone.
- Shared devices. If you use a shared terminal (for example, a store POS), sign out and back in there as well.
Still locked out?
If self-service doesn’t work — for example, you’ve lost access to your MFA device — contact the Service Desk (ext. 4357). For security, we’ll verify your identity before helping.
Tip: Passwords expire every 180 days. When you see the reminder, reset early so you’re not caught out mid-task.
