Resetting your password

Reset a forgotten or expired password and get back to work quickly.

3 min read · Updated 12 June 20XX · For All staff

You can reset your own Nexus password using self-service — no need to wait for the Service Desk.

Reset it yourself

  1. Go to the Nexus sign-in page and choose Can’t access your account?
  2. Enter your work email and complete the security check (MFA prompt or code).
  3. Choose a new strong passphrase.
  4. Sign in with your new passphrase.

Your new passphrase can’t be the same as a recent one.

After resetting

  • Update your mobile. If you check email on your phone, sign in again there too — see Setting up work email on your phone.
  • Shared devices. If you use a shared terminal (for example, a store POS), sign out and back in there as well.

Still locked out?

If self-service doesn’t work — for example, you’ve lost access to your MFA device — contact the Service Desk (ext. 4357). For security, we’ll verify your identity before helping.

Tip: Passwords expire every 180 days. When you see the reminder, reset early so you’re not caught out mid-task.
